Beautiful Day | Poppy Flower Shaped Card

Hello everyone… Happy Friday and I hope you all have a beautiful day today. I am here and wanna share a shaped card that I created with digital stamp, digital paper, and svg cutting file.

I use this new Beautiful Day Bundle Digital Stamp from Graciellie Design. This digital stamp bundle is packed with 23 high quality PNG images that you can modify as needed for any kind of projects you want to make. Those poppy flowers and clusters are so gorgeous! The sentiments are also lovely and sweet with fabulous choices of fonts. For this new release, this new bundle stamp is on SALE at her store.

I had a fun time creating this Poppy flower shaped card with this digital stamp. I open the flower PNG file on the Silhouette Studio. And then I used the Trace Tool to create the outline cutting line of the flower. After that, I used the Offset Tool to create the offset cutting line that is slightly bigger than original flower.

Next, I created 2 – 4.25″ x 5.5″ rectangles. One of them I used to weld the flower shape as the front of the card. Then, I welded both the front card and the other rectangle to crate the whole card. I cut it with my Silhouette Cameo 3.

Next, I printed and cut the flower with Silhouette Cameo 3, too. I colored the flower with ShinHan Alcohol Markers and then I added a layer of glitter with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Brush Clear. I let it sit to dry.

I cut out the word Friend, one of the words from the Coffee Lovers SVG Files using White cardstock and then I colored it with Spectrum Noir Sparkles Brush Black. I let it sit aside to dry.

When the flower and sentiment word dried, I added them on the front of the card. I used 3D foam for the flower and I used permanent adhesive glue for the word sentiment.

For the inside card, I printed one of the Rustic Wood Digital Papers on a white cardstock. I trimmed it and then added it on the inside card with Scrapbook Adhesives EZ Runner.

I printed several of the sentiments from this Beautiful Day Bundle Digital Stamp on a white cardstock. I trimmed one of them into sentiment banner and then I added it inside the card with Scrapbook Adhesives EZ Runner.

  1. Really a beautiful card. I love the shimmer on the flower too. I don’t have all the tools you do to create a card like that but I can see where it is a beautiful digital set to own.
