Sending Paper Hugs

We all know that it has been hard times for all of us and we cannot give physical hug to each other yet. But, we can send each other paper hugs through handmade cards.

I am grateful that I could get back to do projects slowly in my craft room after my surgeries. I got to spend time this week to color and make this card.

I used new Olive Branch Digital Stamp Bundle and the new Olive Branch Digital Paper Pack. They are beautiful match sets for any occasions cards, especially encouraging cards.

I printed the image and sentiment on 80 lbs white smooth Neenah white cardstock with inkjet printer the day before I colored it. The image was dried overnight. If you print the image and want to color it right away, make sure to dry the ink with craft heat gun first to avoid smearing while coloring.

I colored the image with Arteza Everblend Art Markers. I added some white paint splatters on it and then I dried the colored image with craft heat gun and then fussy cut it with micro-tip scissors.

I cut the sentiment with one of the label die from Dare 2B Artzy Slim Mini Wavy Layers Die Set.

I printed one of these beautiful digital patterned papers on a white cardstock with inkjet. I trimmed it into 4 inch x 5.5 inch. I added the patterned paper on the top fold card white card with permanent EZ Grand runner adhesive.

After that, I added the colored image and sentiment banner on the card with 3D foam adhesive.

You also find Gracie’s designs at Unity Stamp Company in form of rubber stamps and papers pad.

Let’s encourage and give each other hugs with our handmade cards. I hope you can feel my hugs today… Thank you for stopping by my blog today…
