And for today blog hop, I have a couple of cards that I made using the new Typografia In Faith collection:

On my first card I used the Every Perfect Gift stamp on my card. First I stamp it on a piece of watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black, added some clear embossing powder on it, then heat set it with my craft heater.

I scribble some of the yellow Spectrum Noir Aqua Marker on a clear stamping blog. I then wet the stamped watercolor paper with clean water, and using the watercolor brush, I picked up the pigment and added on the wet paper to create the gradient color background. Since the image is heat embossed, it resist the watercolor paint.

When the watercolor panel dried, I run it through my diecutting machine with one of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies. I added the panel on the card base from Canvas Corp with 3D foam tape and finished it with some natural twine ribbon.

The second card I created using the Glory To God Stamp. First, I created the night scene directly on the card base using heavy weight white cardstock and Distress Inks. Then I stamped the image on another heavy weight white cardstock with Fired Brick and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink using Mini MISTI so I could stamp 2 colors at the same time. To give the distressed look on the stamped image, I sprinkled some water and dabbed it right away with paper towel since it is not watercolor paper.

After that, I run it through my diecutting machine with the Stitched Winter Landscape Die and I sponged some of the same green shades from Distress Inks on the trees and house. Then I added some glitter on them with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Brush Pen. And I finished the card with some of the silver stars from Pretty Pink Post.

That’s all my cards today… I hope you all are inspired! Don’t forget to visit STAMPlorations blog to enter the giveaway and see more from the team! But…. before you go…

  3. Helen, both of your cards are so creative! Love the multicolors used on the second card (as well as that gorgeous scene) and the fun finishing touches on the first card! So thrilled that these stamps are available- I love using Scripture on my cards! Hugs and I hope you have a blessed week, sweet friend!

  4. Love that background on the winter landscape. I’m so happy the Lords messages are large and are the focal point

  5. Love the winter scene above the sentiment on
the second card. The dots as the background
on the first is a great idea.
