Stenciled Butterfly Tag

Hey hey hey… I hope you all are doing well, healthy, and safe. These days people are feeling insecure and afraid of what is spreading around the world right now. My prayers go to all the nations and people…

Today, I would like to share a project I created for the March Stencil Challenge. Head over to STAMPlorations Blog to see more info and inspiration from the design team.

I cut out a watercolore paper using one of the die from Manila Tags Nesting Dies using my Gemini Junior machine. Then, I use the Make Marks 5 and Make Marks 6 to create the watercolored background.

I stamped the butterfly image from the Fluttery Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair ink pad and then I colored with Tombow Dual Brush Pens and Spectrum Noir Glitter Brush. Next, I dried the butterfly with craft heater and fussy cut it with scissors.

I stamped the sentiment and label image from the same stamp set with VersaFine Clair on a white cardstock and fussy cut it with scissors.

I added the label on the tag with permanent adhesive glue, and then I added the butterfly with permanent adhesive glue for the body and used 3D foam tape for the wings so they will pop up.

I hope you all join and play along with us. You can read full detail about the challenge rules and to link up your project at March Stencil Challenge Blog Post by March 31, 11:55 p.m. Pacific time.
