Welcome to the Technique Blog Hop. This month we will showcase an interactive element (or more) on your layout, card, or other item! You can include a pocket, slide out, tabs, etc.
There so many tutorials out there you can find how to create interactive cards, layouts, and other projects. And this month we have 11 participants that sharing the projects with you. So, if you are here from Michelle, you are on the right tract 🙂 But if you are here, you can continue hopping to the next blog to make the loop.
I found this video tutorial how to make this fun push-and-pull card (or watch here):
And this is my Push ‘n’ Pull Card using Celebrate with Cake—May Stamp of the Month and Happy Times Paper Packet:
Here are the close up of the pull tab and the push tab. I added a piece of Black & Gold Ribbon with Liquid Glass and secured it on the top of the pull tag with Mini Stapler.
The for the cake tier, I stamped them with Archival Black Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad, colored them with Watercolor Pencils and Blending Pen.
For the flowers, I stamped them with VersaMark™ Ink Pad on Watercolor Paper, added some Ranger™ Princess Gold Embossing Powder and heat set them with Craft Heater. Then I colored them with Watercolor Paints using wet flat Paintbrush.
I fussy cut those flowers when they dried completely with Non-stick Micro-tip Scissors and added on the cake with some mini glue dots.
And I decorated the front of the card with Happy Times Paper Packet and the sentiment is from Celebrate with Cake—May Stamp of the Month that I stamped on a strip of White Daisy Cardstock with Black Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad and Saffron Exclusive Inks™ Stamp Pad, cut it with Non-stick Micro-tip Scissors and added on the front card with adhesive runner.
My card based size is 5.5″ x 4.25 that fits perfectly in the regular A2 envelope. You do not want to decorate the inside panels too bulky so they will slide perfectly when you pull them. I avoid to much embellishment on the front card because the surprise is the inside panels when the recipient pull it also I think the gold and gorgeous flower papers from the Happy Times Paper Packet is just enough.
Your next hop is Danielle’s blog to see her project. THANK YOU for stopping by 🙂 Have a fun blog-hopping!

You did an awesome job with this card and beautiful technique. I love it! We are blessed that you linked with our Challenge at Word Art Wednesday and inviting you to join us again in our current challenge. Leaving you with the encouragement from God’s Word in Romans 15:5-6 which tells us, “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Have a great Memorial Day weekend.
Blessings,
