Watercolored Card: Thinking Of You

Today I had a chance to sit in my craft room, cleaned it and made a mess again 😀 But I am so thankful that I could get some things done today. I made couple cards for Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and you can read all about it here.

I enjoyed coloring one of the gorgeous flowers from Chamberry – ArtPlay coloring book. This flower is printed on high-quality paper that can handle any coloring mediums. I watercolored it twice, first with the SimplyArt watercolor paint and then layered it with some Pearlescent watercolor paint. The paper did not peel off at all after all the water I added on it.

After the painted flower dried well, fussy cut it outside the frame and I added it on the black card base with adhesive runner. I stamped the sentiment from Essential by Ellen – Mondo Hydrangea stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black on a piece of white cardstock, cut the other end of it into a banner shape, then added on the card with 3d foam tape. I finished the card with some pearl gems.

I made this for a dear friend who has been in my thoughts lately. My prayer that she will be encouraged by God to go through her days with hope and faith in Him only.

I hope this card also be an inspiration for you today. THANK YOU so much for visiting me today and have a fabulous blessed day!
