Antique Rose Thanks A Bunch

This is my second post today and I am sharing my first Design Team project with a2z Scrapbooking Challenge. So thankful to be part of this talented team!

The a2z Scrapbooking Challenge is a monthly challenge for papercrafters, cardmakers, scrapbookers, mixed media artists… All kind of projects that use Hero Arts products. Every month, there will be a new theme. And for July, it is Anything Goes. You can check out more the July challenge and link up your project here.

And here’s my card for this month challenge:

Thanks A Bunch - a2z July Challenge

I used Hero Arts Floral Filigree Stencil Pair SA051 and added the White Exclusive Pigment ink (CTMH) with make up sponge to create the background on Kraft Card. I cut a piece of Canson Watercolor paper with one of the Fancy Frame Dies (Craftin Desert Divas) using my WRMK Evolution Advanced. Then on that watercolor panel, I stamped the Antique Rose Stem stamp and the sentiment from Thanks Stamp & Cut set with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I used my Craft Heater to make sure they dried well before I added the watercolor paint.

Then I color the flower with Watercolor Paint (CTMH) using small round brush. Once it was done and dried, I added the panel on my card with 3D foam tape. I finished the card with some pearl gems (gift from a friend).

You are invited to play with this challenge along a whole month long! By entering you will have a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to the a2z Scrapbooking Store. One lucky winner will be announced on the 7th of August!!

a2Z Scrapbooking Etsy Store has large collection of Hero Arts products. And my crafty friends, you will get 15% OFF when you use my code Helen15 when you put an order of $25 or more (exclude shipping). THANK YOU!
