I am sharing my third card for Share The Love. This card I created the background by stamping and watercoloring with Distress Ink.
On a piece of Canson Watercolor paper, I stamped the images from Essentials by Ellen – O Frappe stamp set with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Then I colored the image using small round brush and water. I added some more Vintage Photo ink here and there for some shadow. I also added some splatters here and there. I set that aside to try.
For the gift, I stamped the image from Winnie & Walter – The Party stamp set. I stamped it twice, first with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and second time with Taylor Expressions – Cherry Pop Ink. Then I stamped the confetti from the same stamp set with Taylor Expressions – Lemon Meringue Ink on the black stamped gift. I used micro-tip scissors to cut out the gift images, the black gift just the box, and the red one only the ribbon. Then I glued them back together. I used the reinker to color the ribbon and confetti.
For the sentiment I stamped and heat-embossed the word birthday from Winnie & Walter – The Big, The Bold and The Happy on the Black Cardstock (CTMH) and I cut out the label. Then on a piece of vellum, I stamped the word blessings from Winnie & Walter – The Big The Bold, and Blessings with Versafine Onyx Black and added some Clear Embossing Powder (CTMH) on it and heat it with my craft heater. Then I cut it out with micro-tip scissors.
Once all elements ready, I added them on the card base with adhesive runner, 3D foam tape and glue pen. First the background panel, then the gift box and then the sentiment and label. And it is done 🙂
Thank You for visiting my blog today and have a fabulous blessed day!
