It is a new week for Addicted To Stamps and More Challenge. This week challenge theme is Clean and Simple.
And the sponsor for the prize this week is A Day For Daisies, an online store provides themed categories of over 3000 digital stamp illustrations for all your crafty projects. Visit A Day For Daisies blog for inspirations using their digital images. Prize: $12.00 gift certificate
I made this card with the digital image, Christmas Poinsettia, from A Day For Daisies.
I resized the image and printed couple of them on letter size white cardstock. I let it sit to dry well for several minites before I colored the flower.
I used the Simply Art watercolor paint from Loew Cornell. It is the same watercolor paint my daughter uses 🙂 Since it is not a watercolor paper, I tried not to used lots of water. I did not wet the image, but wet my brush and pick up the color, then colored it.
I added some glitter on the watercolored image with Wink Of Stella glitter brush for some extra shine and bling.
Then I die-cut the panel with one of the Fancey Frame dies from Craftin Desert Divas. I stamped the sentiment from Merry Merry stamp set from Close To My Heart.
For the background card, I embossed kraft cardstock using Close To My Heart Woodgrain embossing folder and WRMK Evolution Advance machine.
My card is simple and flat. I hope this card inspires you to create Clean-And-Simple card this week. Link up your card at Addicted To Stamps and More Challenge #214 to have a chance to win the prize.
