Joy Clair October New Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello crafty friends… Welcome to the Joy Clair October New Release Blog Hop! Today I am joining the Joy Clair team to share projects showcasing the new stamp sets! And I created a Bible Journaling page for this blog hop.

When I read my devotion, I love spending time to do some Bible Journaling, too. I’ve read the Hebrew 11 so many times. Every time I read this passage, I learned something new of who God is and his character. This time, I read from Hebrew 11:9-40. These verses describe how the people who their faith in God died in faith even they did not receive the answer or see what they trusting God to do in their lives.

This is faith. In the last couple of days, I was in the situation where I once again had to see the situation through the faith I have in Him. I thought this was the time He would answer my prayers for a while, but it was not yet.

Faith is a work in progress. By faith I put my trust in His every word spoken in the Bible. I pray and this is my prayer to my Heavenly Father, in whom I put my trust, that He will build my faith, that he will work in me, that he will be my foundation, and that he will give me the desire, strength and power to walk in faith. Only by Him and in Him.

I created my journaling page using Under Construction stamp set:

One more inspiration using the new Harvest Blessings stamp set with no-line watercoloring technique. I shared it on my blog couple of days ago for the October Challenge here:

This month, Joy Clair release 4 new stamps released this month: Harvest Blessings, Under Construction, Away In A Manger, Merry Christmoose.

  1. Lovely Bible Journal Page and card. Cute use of the vellum with the sentiment on the card. (Please don’t respond to this comment if it will go to my email inbox. Thanks.)

  2. Hi Helen, Your stampings are always so nice and the cards. I too have found that once I’ve read my scripture for my morning reading, that it helps to start journaling my Bible page as well as a reminder when I return to those chapters as I don’t commit to memory as I use to. But doing this has helped me get an overview of what each chapter in the Bible and it’s characters are about and the messages. I use to believe that we never write in our Bibles so the journaling and note taking Bibles are great for just that purpose. ~hugs~
