Bible Journaling With Printable Files

The Cut Shoppe

Hello everyone…Today I have a couple of Bible journaling pages to share with you all using printable files.

In the last couple weeks, I am feeling so thirsty for God’s word and His presence. This verses in Psalms 143 are describing my cry to Him in prayer. I long for Him… more… and more…

On my first Bible journaling page today, I am using The Road Trip Printable you can grab this set at The Cut Shoppe Store, but the Summer Sizzle set, you can grab it for free when you join The Cut Shoppe Scrap Spot Facebook Group.

First, I open the files with Silhouette Studio Software, and then activate the Print-and-Cut feature on the software.

I printed the files with inkjet printer on heavyweight white cardstock and then cut them with my Silhouette Cameo.

That easy!

On my Bible page, I added some watercolor paint and dried it with craft heater. Then I added the printable pieces on the page with dries-clear adhesive glue. And then I wrote highlight verse that I want to remember in the journaling space.

On my second Bible journaling page, I used the Summer Sizzle set and the All Tied Up Alpha Cut File on my ESV Interleaved Journaling Bible. It has large full page for journaling.

I cut the alphabet set with heavyweight white cardstock, and then I colored them with Gelato Metallic  Blueberry and waterbrush. I set them aside to dry.

While waiting, painted the grass at the bottom of the page using Gelato Green Tea and baby wipe. After the painted grass dried, I added the printable pieces on the page using dries-clear adhesive glue. Then, I added the alphabets on the pages saying Stand Firm and wrote the phrase “In The Lord” using Micron Pen.

Please visit The Cut Shoppe Blog for more details on my project and also for more inspirations from the design team. I hope you all enjoy this simple post today. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Bible Journaling ~ Fruit of The Spirit

Joy Clair Clear Stamps

Hello everyone… Welcome to Joy Clair August New Release Blog Hop! There are new Color By Faith – Bible Journaling Clear Stamps and also new Everyday Clear Stamp Sets.

For today blog hop project, I created a Bible journaling page featuring the new Fruit of The Spirit Stamp Set and Doodle Lines Stamp Set. Both are 6″x 8″ clear photopolymer stamps and also comes with the digital cutting files when you purchase them.

I am using my ESV Journaling Psalter. The verses I am highlight here is from Psalm 34: 8, “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!”

I added a thin layer of clear gesso on the page using foam brush. Let it sit to dry for several minutes. Air drying is better way to avoid wrinkle on the page, but you always can use craft heater to speed up the drying process but this will wrinkle your page. My trick to flatten the paper after using craft heater is to use craft iron.

I stamped one of the images from Doodle Lines Stamp set with VersaFine Verdant Ink Pad to create the corner frames. This is pigment ink so will dry slow, but I used craft heater to dry the ink.

Next step, I stamped the sentiment in the middle of the page and the fruits all around the sentiment using VersaFine Nocturne Ink Pad. I dried them with craft heater.

And then I started to color them with Leisure Arts Watercolor Pencils and small waterbrush.

Transform Me Oh Lord Bible Journaling Page

Joy Clair Stamps

Hello everyone… Today I would like to share with you all Transform Me Oh Lord Bible Journaling page from the book of Isaiah 64.

The Isaiah 64 talks about how the people of Israel cried out to the LORD and asked Him for His grace and forgiveness for the sins that they had done before Him. They realized that the LORD was their one and only Father, whom in His hands their lives were formed and that the LORD controlled their lives as He had planned since the beginning of the creation.

This truth is also for us. We can find peace in this truth by knowing that we are in the hands of the God Almighty, that our lives is formed and planned according to His will, and that God our Father is the one who control every single situation in our lives. We can find assurance in Him by trusting Him and surrendering our lives into His hands and let Him does what He has planned to do in and through our lives since the beginning of creation.

I created this Bible journaling page with these new Joy Clair stamp sets: The Potter Stamp Set, Many Names Stamp Set, and Crackle Background Stamp.

When I work with water color or archival inks, I like to prep my Bible Journaling pages with some Clear Gesso.

I stamped the image with Memento DewDrop ink pad and colored them with Leisure Arts Watercolored Pencils. For the background, I stamped it with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and sprayed it with some water.

I am sharing a tutorial with pictures at Joy Clair Blog today. I hope you all will enjoy the post there. THANK YOU So much for stopping by my blog today. Have a wonderful blessed day!

My Redeemer Lives Bible Journaling

Joy Clair

HAPPY EASTER to you and your loved ones! We hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Easter weekend with you loved ones celebrating the victory in Jesus, our living Redeemer! Death nor grave cannot hold Him. Jesus is alive and the power that rose Him from the death is not living in us.

My Redeemer Lives Bible Journaling

I have a Bible journaling page to share with you today. The reading is from Mark 16:1-8. If you continue reading the whole chapter 16, you will also find more proofs that JESUS is ALIVE by revealing himself to his disciples.

On my journaling page, I use the My Redeemer – Color By Faith Stamp Set with Ranger Black Archival Ink, Distress Oxide, Arteza Woodless Watercolor Pencils, and Waterbrush. I am so very thankful for this creative way we can meditate God’s word and also expressing our love toward him through artwork. And if you are like me who do not draw or paint well, then stamps will be our choices 🙂 Joy Clair has an amazing Bible Journaling – Color By Faith stamp collection!

A Mixed Media Card and A Bible Journaling Page

Joy Clair Stamp Sets

Hello everyone… I hope you are having good early Spring and have time to prepare your hearts and mind for Easter weekend.

Today, I have a Mixed Media Card and A Bible Journaling Page that I create using Joy Clair – Bible Journaling Color By Faith Collection and Mini MISTI.

Mixed Media Card and Bible Journaling Page with Joy Clair and MISTI

On my first project, a mixed media card, I use the Refuel My Soul stamp set and Fishers of Men stamp set. Both stamp sets are new Bible Journaling Color By Faith Collection which are perfect for not only for Bible journaling projects, but also for making cards, and more encouragement themed projects. I cut out the card and gas pump shapes with my Silhouette Cameo, and using Mini MISTI to stamp them. Then I colored them with watercolor pencils. The background I created with Gelato and baby wipes.

Mixed Media Card and Bible Journaling Page with Joy Clair and MISTI

For my second project, a Bible journaling page, I created it using Fishers of Men stamp set, Gelatos and Stamper’s Big Brush Pen. This time, I did not prepare my page with clear gesso becuase I did not use a lot of water on this page. When I work with Gelatos on Bible journaling page, Baby Wipes is my to go blender tool 🙂

I am sharing full post and tutorials how I created these 2 projects on Joy Clair blog today. While you are there, don’t  forget to comment on the post for it is part of the special month event blog hop with My Sweet Petunia team.

I hope you like the post and THANK YOU so much for stopping by my blog today! Have a wonderful day.
