Christmas Redux Blog Hop & Giveaway

STAMPlorations

Hello everyone… Almost October, and I think tt is time to start the Christmas project, right? Today I have two Christmas cards to share with you.

I am part of the fun Christmas CUTplorations Redux Blog Hop with STAMPlorations. It is one of the special events hosted by them for the next 3 months! Come and join us for lots of inspirations and prizes to win!!! On my cards today, I am using STAMPlorations – CUTplorations thin metal dies.

On my first card I use the Christmas Icon Nativity Die, Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies, and Peace Love Joy Stamp Set (retired).

I cut out the Nativity Die with black cardstock and then I added the Gold embossing on the start using VersaMark Marker and Gold Embossing powder. I did it twice for extra thick embossed effect.

I stamped the sentiment using StazOn Black Jet on a piece of acetate plastic. I set it aside to dry. And then I added on the back of the shaker frame.

For the shaker frame, I use 2 sizes of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies to cut out one of the patterned papers from the ODBD Christmas Collection 2016 Paper Pad. On a white card I added some of the gold sequins and jumbo glitter, and then I added the frame on top of the card with 3D foam tape.

On my second card, I use the Christmas Baubles 1 Layering Dies, Christmas Baubles 2 Layering Dies,Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies, Warm Hands Warm Hearts Stamp Set, and Holly Background ARTplorations Stencil.

I use the stamping with stencil technique to create the watercolored look background. I used the Holly Background ARTplorations Stencil, watercolor paper and distress ink for this technique. After the background dried, I cut it with the largest size of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.

I cut the base layers using both the Christmas Baubles layering die sets using the red cardstock and I cut out the top layer using gold glitter paper. I stacked them together using dries-clear adhesive glue. I tied up some white twine on the baubles. And then I added them on the background panel with 3D foam tape and secure the twine behind the background panel with glue. I added the whole panel on the card with the permanent dries-clear adhesive glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Warm Hands Warm Hearts Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair Tulip Red ink pad.

That’s all my cards today. I hope you all like them and inspire you to crate. And… before you all go… leave comment on my blog post… When do you officially start your Holiday/Christmas projects this year?
