Encouraging Card – Coloring On Kraft Cardstock

Graciellie Design

Hello everyone… It’s been rainy week here. The weather is cooling down for sure. Today, I have an encouraging card to share with you all. I hope you all are encouraged and take the step in faith.

I love the flowers and encouraging words in the Keep Growing digital stamp set from Graciellie Design. She has plenty of beautiful designs that you can use on any projects and for any occasions.

I call this card is an “almost-one-layer” card. I printed the flower cluster and the sentiment on kraft paper with inkjet printer. And then I colored the flowers and leaves using Leisure Arts Premium Coloring Pencils and Prismacolor Blending Pencil. And, I added some white shading around it with the white colored pencil and blending pencil.

I added some gold splatters on it with small round brush and one of the gold paint from the Finetec Gold Palette. I dried the the whole panel.

I trimmed the background panel 1/4″ inch smaller than the card base. I added it on the card with adhesive and then I embellished the card with some clear holographic sequins.

This card is quick and easy to make for sure. If you like coloring, this is a way to enjoy the coloring time and make it into a card. Digital stamps great for this technique.

I hope you all like today’s card and thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day, my friends!
