Floral Heart Gift Bag

Graciellie Design

Hello everyone… I am back today with a gift idea for Valentine’s Day. I made this Floral Heart Gift Bag using digital stamp, digital paper, and box die set.

Graciellie Design Floral Heart Gift Bag - Living My Given Life

To make this bag is pretty easy. I cut out the bag using ODBD – Card Caddy & Gift Bag Dies using heavy weight white cardstock. And I put the pieces together with ScorPal double sided tape.

Then, I printed out the 2 patterns from the Graciellie Design – Pink & Blue Watercolored Digital Papers on white printing papers. And I printed the floral heart image and sentiment from Graciellie Design – Floral Heart & Banners Digital Stamps on white cardstock.

I trimmed the floral blue paper into 5″ x 3.75″ and I added the paper on the front of the bag with Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive Glue. I like this glue for 4 reasons: quickly dries clear, no-wrinkle, and super strong, works on any materials.

Next, I trimemd the checkers patterned paper into 4.5″ x 3.25″ and added it on white cardstock. After that, I used glue pen to draw lines around the edges, let it dried, and added the Gold Foil Paper on it. I added the panel on the bag with the same adhesive glue.

To embellish this bag, I fussy cut the Floral Heart and trimmed the sentiment banner to fit on the bag. I added the sentiment first, and added the heart on it. And finished the bag with some pearl gems on it.

My bag is done 🙂 I hope you enjoy it and inspired to make your own gift bag for your loved ones.

THANK YOU so much for stopping by my blog today. Hope you all have a fabulous day!

DIY Easel Calendar Card

Hello everyone… I am back today with a fun Easel Calendar Card project that you can make as a great New Year gift for a crafty friend or co-worker at the office.

DIY Easel Calendar Card

My project today I created using the Calendar Fun Stamp Set from Joy Clair. I searched for some ideas on Pinterest and stumbled upon on this tutorial from Splitcoaststampers. It is a Calendar Easel Card. It is a card with calendar on it that you can also use it as table top calendar. How about that?

I stamped the calendar grid on white cardstock using MISTI and that makes stamping 12 times super easy and faster! Also, you will have exact same position for each month. I also did the same way with stamping the year 2018, days, and month. But for the dates, I used mini 1×1 stamping acrylic block from Close To My Heart only becuase the date change day on each month.

Inks I used on this project are from the Memento Dew Drops Sorbet Scoop Set.

DIY Easel Calendar Card

I decorated each month with the washi stamp and symbol images that come with the stamp set. I tied them up with twine.

The easel card base is 5 inch x 6.5 inch when it lays flat and fits inside the large invitation envelope that you can get at store. It will need extra stamps to send, but it is also great to hand it out as gift.

I share the steps how I created this calendar card on Joy Clair Blog today. Come over to check it out! THANKS a lot for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day.

COLOR ME Cards and Gift Bag Set

Hello everyone… Today I have a fun Christmas project to share with you. Christmas is getting so close and I created a set of COLOR ME cards and gift bag set. This can be a great gift idea for children and classroom students, too.

COLOR ME Cards and Gift Bag Set

I created this gift set using the new release from Our Daily Bread Designs. The stamp set I used to create the background and sentiment is called Holly Leaves. I simply stamped the leaves branch all over the plain white card base randomly with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. And with the same technique, I decorated the front background gift back.

The die sets I used to create the bag are Card Caddy & Gift Bag Dies, Gift Bag Handles & Topper Dies, and Oval Stitched Rows Dies.

And here’s another one that with the matching greetings card 🙂

I hope this projects today give you inspirations to create quick and fun gifts for your family and friends. Visit Our Daily Bread Blog to see more inspirations from the team and information on their new release.

Thank you so much for stopping by at my blog today. I wish you a blessed day!

And here are my 2 projects using Sanna Lippert Designs Stencils:

First is the table top Christmas tree pot. I found a cute little Christmas tree at a craft store a while ago and it needed a pot 🙂 First, I painted the small clay pot with white acrylic paint. I painted twice, between 1 hour drying time.

After making sure the second layer dried well, I added the Senecio 1 Stencil on the pot and used mini puncher to added the green leaf acrylic paint. I painted the whole surface. You need to be very careful when moving the stencil to the next row, especially when the paint still wet. It would be better to paint the next row when the first one is dry or at least half-dry so there will be no smudge. To remove the wet paint smudge, I simply used wet wipe.

I also added some glitter hologram paint on the pot for extra bling to it. Once paint dry, which craft acrylic paint will dry in 1 hour, I added foam inside the pot for the tree to stand. I secured it with hot glue gun.

And then I wrapped the mini LED light around it and now it is sitting on my desk 🙂

My second project is an art journal using the Evolution Stencil. First, I created the background with Color Burst powder, sprayed some water and dabbed of some. After that I sprayed some white spray paint and green spray paint.

I added some homemade texture paste with the Evolution Stencil on the page and dried it with craft heater. And then I added some Gelatos on it with my finger. I used the Gelatos Original Set on my journal.

Inside and Out Beautiful Is What You Are Art Journal

Using Crisscrossed ARTplorations Stencil, I added some black paint on the corners using make up sponge. And dried it with craft heater. And then I added some gold glitter hologram acrylic paint with the Star Aligned ARTploratios Stencil

I added some old book paper strips in the middle of the page using mod podge, and added some Gelatos on them with my finger.

Once they dry, I added some medical fabric gauge and the green burlap on it with strong liquid glue.

I stamped the flower from Smile – Dee’s Arty Impressions stamp set on a watercolored paper scrap with Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad, fussy cut it with micro-tip scissors, and added it on the page with strong liquid glue. For the sentiment, it is from Bold Sentiment – Beautiful stamp set, cut them into paper strips, and added them with same glue.

I finished the page with added some white gesso around the page with my finger and added the Vintage Photo Distress Ink on it once the gesso was dry.

There all my mixed media projects to share with you all on this blog hop today. You can find all the STAMPlorations supplies I used below. My hope they inspire you to create today 🙂
