Hello hello hello crafty friends! I am back again today with a Fun Fold Bloom Birthday Card.
I am sharing a full details about this fun fold card at Dare 2B Artzy Blog today.
For the base card, I cut out a piece of 80 lbs Neenah Solar White cardstock using the Fun Card Fold Die. I also cut out one of the All A Bloom Paper from the All the Buzz Collection Variety Pack using the same die for the background pattern. If you like, you can grab just the All A Bloom Paper Pack, too.
I cut out the stripe pattern from the left over patterned paper using the Rectangle Fancy Framelit Dies for the fun fold middle card background.
For the sentiment label, I cut out another piece of the Neenah Solar White cardstock using the smaller size of the Rectangle Fancy Framelit Dies and I stamped the birthday sentiment from the Sunshine and Rainbows Stamp Set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink pad using my Mini MISTI. I added it on the card with 3D foam tape for extra dimension to it
A stamping tip: I used purple tape to cover the other words before adding the ink, and I cleaned the stamp after every time I stamped it. This way you can stretch your stamps.
I cut out the flowers and leaves from the rest of the bloom paper using the Spring is Blooming Die. I love how we can use the left over paper and not wasting the awkward shape!!! I added the flowers and leaves around the sentiment label with permanent liquid glue.
I love how this card can be mail flat and fit inside a regular A2 envelope. For me, floral card is not only for Spring, it can be for any occasion. What do you think?
