Hello My Friend | Dare 2B Artzy August Challenge

Hello hello hello my friends!!! It has been a while since the last time I wrote blog post. Lots of things had happened in the last 6 weeks of my life.

I had a surgery on my left arm and still in recovery… It has been a long and hard recovery journey for me but I am thankful for helps I got. I am still in therapy but hopeful.

So… today, I would like to share and excited news too! I am a new team member for the the Dare 2B Artzy!!! To kick off my term with them, I made my first card for the Dare 2B Artzy Challenge. And for August Challenge, the theme is Anything Goes.

I love the new All The Buzz Collection papers. On my card today, I used the All The Bloom pattern from this collection or you also can buy it in a pack of 15 papers here.

I cut out the base with Silhouette Cameo and then I added the paper on my slimline card with permanent adhesive runner. I cut out a thin strip of the stripe pattern and added it also on the card with the same adhesive.

I cut out a piece of white cardstock using Oval Scalloped Framelit Dies. And then using MISTI, I stamped on it the word “Hello” from Spring is Blooming Stamp Set using Memento DewDrop Pear Tart and then I stamped the word “my friend” from Get Well Stamp Set using Memento DewDrop Nautical Blue.

I wrapped the burlap ribbon twine around the card, right on top of the paper strip, the tie up a know. I added the sentiment label on the card with 3D foam tape. After that, I tied up the ribbon twine into a bow and secure it on the card with a dot of liquid glue.

I embellished the card with some sequins just for a little bit extra bling on it.

I hope this card cheers you up today. And I hope you all can play along with the D2BA August Challenge.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!
