Hello everyone! Welcome to the Collaboration Blog Hop with Coffee Loving Cardmakers and Paper Sweeties. We are celebrating the Paper Sweeties’ 7th Birthday!
This blog hop starts at Coffee Loving Cardmakers where also you can see the full list of participants. You should arrive from my teammate, Lori.
On both of these cards, I use the Keep Calm and Drink Coffee acrylic stamp and its matching Sweet Cuts dies set.
First card is a step card. I cut out a piece of heavyweight white cardstock with a Side Step Card Die.
For the side panel, I added a piece of geli printed paper that I had in my stash for the background panel. And for the step side, I added the pattern using Make Marks 1 ARTplorations Stencil, Blending Brush, and CP It’s A Boy ink pad.
I cut out a white cardstock using the mug die. Then I used the negative die cut to stamp the mug using Mini MISTI. I stamped it with VersaMark ink pad and sprinkled it with some clear embossing powder. I did it twice to get extra thick embossed image.
After that, I colored it with Sakura Koi Water Colors and waterbrush. I love rainbow look on this mug!
I stamped the steam image on the side panel with Pinecone VersaFine Clair ink pad and then I added the mug on it with 3D foam tape.
On the side steps, I stamped the other sentiments from the same stamp set using Warm Breeze VersaFine Clair ink pad and Tulip Red VersaFine Clair ink pad.
My second card is a clean-and-simple card. I started with creating that watercolor background using Vintage Photo Distress ink pad and water. I added the ink on craft mat, spray with water, and smooshed in the watercolor paper. I dried in between adding colors.
After that, I added some splatters using Marabu Art Spray Cocoa. I dried the whole panel with craft heater and then I stamped the sentiment and coffee steam image with Pinecone VersaFine Clair ink pad.
I trimmed the panel and then distressed the edges with distresser tool. I added it on the card with E-Z Runner Grand adhesive.
I cut out another heavyweight white cardstock with the mug die, and then stamp the mug with Nocturne VersaFine Clair ink pad. I use the negative die cut with Mini MISTI to help center the stamping.
I added the mug on the card with 3D foam tape and embellished the card with some sequins.
