I Like You A Latte Mixed Media Tag

Hello everyone… Still feeling the love in the air, today I have a mixed media tag for all coffee lovers…

For tag, I use smooshing technique to create the watercolor wash background using Catherine Pooler Ink Pads (Pixie Dust and It’s A Girl) on a watercolor paper. After that, I dried the paper and then cut it with the tag die from Tag O’Coffee CUTplorations Set.

I added the Dots ‘n Beans ARTplorations Stencil on the tag, and then added some White Titanium acrylic paint on the tag with make up sponge. I dried the tag with craft heater.

On another watercolor paper, I smooshed some more the Be Mine Catherine Pooler ink and water on the paper. Dried it with craft heater and then I stamped the heart beans image from the A Cuppa Love Stamp Set using Tulip Red VersaFine Clair Ink Pad. I fussy cut it with scissors and I added it on the tag with Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive Glue.

On a white cardstock, I stampe the cup from the same stamp set with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink Pad and colored the heart with Arteza Woodless Watercolor Pencils and water brush. I fussy cut it too with scissors and I added it on the tag with Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive Glue.

For the sentiment, I stamped it on a grey cardstock with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink Pad and trimmed it into banner. I added it on the tag with 3D foam tape. I embellished the tag with some sequins from my stash.

Journaling God’s Words In Two Ways

Hello hello hello everyone… I hope you all are doing amazing! There are many ways you can journal God’s word and today, I would like to share two ways of journaling God’s words.

I love using stamps, inks, and various coloring mediums on my Journaling Bible and Art Journal Book. Sometimes, I write and doodle on the pages. On both on my Journaling Bible and Traveler Notebook today, I use the newest Joy Clair Color By Faith stamp sets.

The first way is using a Journaling Bible. You can find many versions of this Journaling Bible. I use my ESV Journaling Bible for this project and use the Rise and Shine Stamp Set and Light Bulb Moment Stamp Set. I used Memento DewDrops and VersaFine Clair Inks for coloring, and for coloring I used Arteza Real Brush Pens and water brush.

My second project is journaling the with Traveler Notebook. I made this traveler journal out of cardstocks, mixed media papers, watercolor papers, and printing papers for the purpose that I can use various kind of mediums for mixed media projects, too. You can find the tutorial how I made this traveler notebook here.

On this page, I use new Reckless Love Stamp SetNew Year New Me Stamp Set, and Light Bulb Moment Stamp Set. I use Sakura Koi Water Colors, Sharpie Fine Makers, VersaFine Clair ink pads, Fireworks! Spray, White acrylic paint, and Gelatos on this page.

Joy Clair has a new Bible Journaling Kit with this new Reckless Love Stamp Set!

You can read the full details and tutorials at Joy Clair Blog today. I hope these two ways of journaling give you some ideas how to journal God’s living word in creative ways.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. May you all have a blessed and wonderful day!

Mardi Gras Event | Unashamed Mixed Media Art Journal

Welcome to Joy Clair – Mardi Gras event! This is a special event featuring their stamp sets. And today, I have an art journal to share with you all.

There are many things I did in the past that make me feel ashamed of myself… But when you know the truth that God is gracious and kind enough to forgive us and reveal His love for us. I won’t be unashamed anymore, there will no more judgement in Christ Jesus!

On this mixed media art journal, I use the newly released Color by Faith Collection, Unashamed Stam Set. This is a great set that can be used for Bible Journaling, cards, tags, home decors, and any other projects.

I used this mixed medias technique to create the base background. I added another layers on it using the Crisscross ARTplorations Stencil, VersaFine Clair Verdant Ink, VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink Pad, and blending brush.

I stamped the streamers, chains and sentiment from the Unashamed Stamp Set with Versafine Nocturne Ink Pad and Tulip Red Ink Pad.

I stamped more on the page with some images from the Mardi Gras Stamp Set using VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink Pad.

Then I added some gold and white splatters using Gold metallic acrylic paint and white acrylic paint, water, and brush.

I stamped the makes, feathers, gems, streamers, and sticks from the Unashamed Stamp Set on Rinea Foil Papers (Pastel Pack and Sapphire/Gold) using Rinea Ghost Ink Pad and StazOn Jet Black Ink Pad.

The ones I stamped with Rinea Ghost Ink Pad, I let it dried for 10-15 minutes and then using baby wipe to wipe it off. The ones I stamped with StazOn Ink Pad, I let it dried completely. After that, I fussy cut them with micro-tips scissors.

I added all the foil pieces on the page with some Art Glitter Dries Clear Adhesive Glue. It is one of my favorite glue to use on mixed media page.

I am not usually create with bright colors, but I like how this page turned out.

Mixed Media Card | Zen Heart Love

Happy Sunday everyone… on this first Sunday of the month, I have a mixed media Valentine theme card to share with you all.

On my card, I am using stamps amd stencils from STAMPlorations: Zen Hearts ARTplorations StencilArt Splatters ARTplorations StencilBig Dreamer Stamp Set.

I started with adding the Twilight Catherine Pooler Ink on a white cardstock using the Art Splatter Stencil and blending brush. Then I trimmed it slightly smaller than the grey card base. I distress the edges with distresser tool. I added this background panel on the card with permanent adhesive runner.

I mixed some fine glitter with texture paste on my craft mat. I dabbed some of the Be Mine Catherine Pooler Ink Pad on the craft mat and mixed the texture paste with the ink. I added the paste on a white cardstock usung the Zen Heart Stencil. I dried it with craft heater and then I fussy cut the heart and added on the card with permanent glue adhesive.

I stampe the sentiment and flower from the Big Dreamer Stamp Set on a white cardstock using the Midnight Catherine Pooler Ink, I dried them with craft heater. Next I colored the flowers and leaves with Catherine Pooler Inks – Be Mine, Grass Skirt, and Lime Rickey – using water brush.

I fussy cut the flower branch and sentiment with micro tip scissors. And then I added them on the heart with permanent adhesive glue and also I used 3D foam tape on some of the leaves and flower for extra dimension.

I added some white paint splatters on the card to finish this card.
