Joy Clair November Challenge | Mugs and Kisses

Hello everyone… Let’s stepping into November with a new crafty challenge…

Here’s the festive and beautiful mood board for you for this month challenge from Joy Clair Blog.

Inspired by the mood board theme, colors and those red cups, I created this card:

On the background border, I use the Christmas Border Clear Stamps Set. I stamped the holly leaves and berries using MISTI and Creative Corners. I added the VersaFine Clair Tulip Red Ink Pad and VersaFine Green Oasis Ink Pad with sponge daubers. I stamped the image couple times for extra boldness.

I added some gold splatters on a white cardstock using one of the Gold Palette from the Finetec Metallic set. I dried it with craft heater.

I use the Christmas Cocoa Clear Stamps Set for the mugs and sentiment. I stamped the sentiment on the background panel with VersaFine Tulip Red Ink Pad and MISTI. And then I added the finished panel on the red card with adhesive glue.

I stamped the mug image couple times on a watercolor paper with VersaFine Tulip Red Ink Pad. And then I stamped the snowflake in the middle of the cup with VersaMark Ink Pad, and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder and craft heater. After that, I colored both cups with Leisure Arts Watercolor Pencils and waterbrush.

I dried the watercolored mugs with craft heater and then I fussy cut them with scissors. I added the first mug on the card with adhesive glue, and added the second mug on top of the first one with 3D foam tape for extra dimension.
