Let’s End It Now!

IMG_1929

On August 19th morning before we flew back to Ohio, we were invited to share about Bible Translation and the needs with the Elementary students of Canyon Creek Christian Academy, Richardson, TX. We were honored to share with them about the vision, the Bibleless people’s needs, how they can be part of this mission work and prayed together with them and the teachers at their Morning Assembly Meeting.

And Couple of days ago I got a text from my friend, Stefanie. She sent us this picture from one of the class from their Lower School Mission Project 2013-2014. The 3rd Grade students and teacher adopt us as their mission project! They pray for the country, for the people group we will be living with and for us, too. How amazing is that? We are thankful, humbled, honored and blessed.

I bring praise to Him only! Our God is the unlimited God. He is resourceful. He also can use school students to bring the Gospel to those who don’t have any verse in the language they understand best.

These people group in Southeast Asia will hear God’s Good News. Because I have full confidence in Christ that God, our Father in Heaven, is listening to these students and teacher’s prayers every time they lift them up. God will provide the way for this people group to hear and to have the Bible in their language.

But there are still about 109 Million people around the world who speak about 2000 languages who don’t even have 1 single verse in their languages. This is not fair! We have more than 20 version of Bible in English, but they don’t have even 1 word! We have to end it. They need God’s word. They need to hear about Jesus. They need to know who the true God is. So that they will come to trust in Jesus and worship God in His holy name!

But how will they hear? Where is our part in this plan bring them the Gospel?

Together we can end this spiritual poverty. Together we can END THE BIBLE POVERTY! I would like to encourage you to start praying. Pray ask God how he wants you to get involved and ask Him which area He put in your heart.

The Seed Company, a partner organization with Wycliffe Bible Translators, has a new website called, End Bible Poverty. It not a new organization. This is a website where you are offered an AMAZING opportunity to make a huge impact in the efforts to end Bible poverty in around the world. You can start up a campaign to raise the fund for Bible Translation projects. And every dollar given through a church campaign will be matched!

START HERE to start your campaign in bring the Living Word to the Bibleless People Groups in the world! You also can find some resources and videos here.

I will have my first New Testament in my first language in early 2014! That the most amazing news I ever had in my whole live! God speaks my language! I cannot wait to have it in my hand and to read it! This is the joy that I also want the other 109 million people to experience and to know. The joy we have in our Lord Jesus Christ when we can read and hear His life changing word in the language we can understand best in our hearts.

This is why we join Wycliffe Bible Translators, to go to Southeast Asia. This is the reason why we do what we do. This is why I want to meet you, talk with you and share with you what God has put in our hearts for these people groups in Southeast Asia. To know more about us you can visit our website here and over there you also can subscribe to receive our newsletter and to pray for us.

Won’t you be a part of this amazing journey to see more and more people to come to know Christ and worship our God?

Would you join us?

My Goal In This Season

I have been learning a lot of wonderful things from joining HelloMornings challenge in the last 2 year.

I am still learning. It is not easy for me who was a night owl (still in transformation process) and try to wake up early in the morning before my early riser family members. The other struggle I have and still working on it is making plans. It is a process. It is a journey. It is a challenge for me. (Katie Orr has some tips for Night Owls here)

I don’t know how many times I almost gave up. But by God’s grace and encouragements I got from my friends and sisters in HelloMornings group on Twitter and Facebook, I am moving forward, I take tha challenge. I wanna be changed by God to be a productive person, be the wife God wants me to be for my husband and be the mom He calls me to be for our daughters.

It is all His Grace in Christ Jesus

Now, I mostly go to bed by 10 pm and wake up between 5:30 – 6 am, sometimes even 4:30 am! I have the most wonderful intimate time with my God, time to pray and extra time to get myself ready for my husband and daughters.

On Saturdays, mostly my hubby will let me sleep in and he keeps the door close and keeps the girls out of our bedroom so I can sleep or just lay down resting. I love my husband, how he support me and encourage me all the time!

Here’s a glimpse of my every day morning. Adjustment happens all the time. But by making this plan, I have a guide line of what to do every morning that helps me.

One more thing I would love to accomplish in this season is do more exercises. I have a sciatic nerve problem with my 2 pregnancy and it bothers me until now, especially when I pick up something heavy or do more movements. I am still looking for the best exercise that will help me with healing the sciatic nerve pain and get me healthy.

I hope that this season, God’s glorious grace will enough for all of us to reach our goals according to His own will.

“Here I am Lord, teach me your truth, renew my mind with your truth and transform me according to your will. Your power and the power of your Word gives me freedom and life. Thank You for all your grace. It is enough for me. Yes your grace is enough. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.”

Thank You for supporting me and my family in prayer!

I rewrite my older post into this post after thinking through what God has been teaching me through HelloMornigns. This post I link this post at HelloMornings blog.

God Made It Fruitful

LakeTexoma_08-16-13

We are back from our 18 days trip to Texas and Oklahoma (8/2 – 8/20). At the end of this trip we are tired, but most of all we are thankful for what God has done in those 18 days. We asked all of our prayer partners to pray for God would make this trip glorifying His name and fruitful, safe trip, meeting people, have good relationships, and good health for all of us. And He answered the prayers! He made it fruitful!

Here are some of the highlights of the trip:

  • Time with family (Helen’s cousin and his family). We also spent some times just us as family.
  • Declare Conference (I blog about it tomorrow), where I met some of my friends in REAL LIFE who I first time met online (Twitter, Facebook, Blogging group).
  • Visiting 1 church in Richardson, TX and 2 churches in Houston, TX.
  • Sharing about the needs of Bible Translation works in South East Asia at 2 home meetings in Houston, TX.
  • YouVersion 100 Million Celebration at Live Church TV in Edmond, OK where we met some of the volunteers for the translation team, the coordinator and the director.
  • Sharing about the needs of Bible Translation works in Southeast Asia at Canyon Creek Baptist Sunday School classes and their Elementary students and teachers at the Academy morning assembly.

We did have busy schedule on this trip but one thing that we know well in our hearts that it is all God, because of God and at the end all the glory is for God alone.

He made it happened. He made it fruitful.

THANK YOU FOR PRAYING!

My First (in)RL Meet Up

I made it to my very first time (in)RL. I’ve been praying and dreaming of this day, the day when I could meet the wonderful ladies I’ve met online through (in)courage group, HelloMornings, Twitter and Facebook.

Oh how I was so excited when I walked into the room! I met them! Friends that have been great accountability for me, friends who God has been using to bless and encourage me.

I never had a thought to be in a community until one day I stepped in because I needed it. I found out that God can use the community to help me, to strengthen me, to build me and there I find accountabilities I need. Godly friends God has provided for me there in the community He put me in. That is pretty cool, isn’t it? We have God who cares and knows well what we need in our lives. Someone who we really can account on.

And yes, I am staying in this community.

One thing I am still praying – have been praying since 10 years ago – is that a mentor that He has for me.

At the meet up we had so much fun at the photo booth 🙂 and here are some of our fun photos 😀
