Caring Hearts Card Drive

Happy Saturday! And… Happy Halloween! Hopefully, you all also have a wonderful weekend with your family and doing something fun together.

This year, again both Jennifer McGuireink and Vera Yates host this amazing and thoughful card drive for those who are at nursing home during the Holidays.

The holidays are about family, kindness, and joy. During this time many of the elderly who lives in nursing homes would really feel the loneliness or missing their family. Wouldn’t it be so awesome if we can bring a smile to their face & brighten their holiday season simply by sharing our love of card making? A simple gesture to let them know that they are not forgotten. That someone still thinking of them.

Don’t you agree with what Vera said above? Sending handmade cards to them is you sharing the joy and sending them love from your family to them at the nursery homes, away from their families during the Holidays.

The card drive runs until November 27th. That means you still have time to make Holiday cards for them. More details on this please visit Jennifer McGuireink’s blog and Vera Yates’ blog.

If you can, please share this on your blog and social media using hashtag #caringheartscarddrive so many will join and share the joy! The more, the merrier. The more joy we can share on this special season.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Trick-or-Treating Day

Today is the day for every kid in our neighborhood have been waiting for! The day for them to have candies as many as they can. I know our daughters can’t wait to go out there, don’t care if it is cold, to get candies!

The Big Girl was super excited when she got off the school bus and she chated, “Today is the day! Trick-or-Treating day!” The Little Girl was way to excited last night she wanted to go to sleep with her costume. This morning she woke up worried because she did not see her butterfly wings.

Trick-or-Trick is fun. We love to do that together with our friends and our neighbors are super nice. Some of them dress-up and decorate their houses for fun.

We had fun taking the girls out trick-or-treating and I had problems keeping up with their speed! LOL! They were worn out by the end of the walk and for sure they had quite a lot of candies.

The Big Girl will have her school Halloween party on Friday and more bags of candies when she came home. You can see here, CANDIES is the theme of our week.

We ended the day with thankful and joy, though all of our feet and legs are sore 😄

Hope And Encouragement

Romans 15:14

The season is changed here where we live. The weather is cooler and the leaves are changing their colors. They display the artsy side of our God, the Creator.

Following to the changes, our family also been experiencing some changes. Our daughters took turn being sick for 3 weeks. Not yet recovering from taking care of them, then this week I got sick and on antibiotic for ten days. My loving and caring husband has to take care the three of us alone and has to go to work, too.

And this situations cause us to pospone couple of our meeting with friends who wants to hear more about the ministry in SEA*. We have to reschedule everything.

I am exhausted, discourage and weak. My soul is thirsty for eternal water. My heart longs for the divine refreshment.

God, the Heavenlh Father, always knows each of His children needs more than we ever know.

After lunch I took a break watching kids TV show with my Little Girl and then we read two Fanch Nancy books and she fell asleep in my arms. I carried her to her bed.

Sittin at my desk and I grab my iPhone and open the Bible App to read my mid-day reading plan. And here’s what the Lord says to me,

“Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled.”

Romans‬ ‭15:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

(read the verse online here)

I could find hope and encouregement from somewhere else now, but He speaks to me right away that it is ONLY in Him and His Word I will find what I trully need right now to go through every single circumstance.

God and God’s word is the only place we need to look for and first. Not our spouse, or children, or hobby, or job, or anything that this world offers us.

Do you need hope?

Do you need encouragement?

Turn off all distractions and read God’s word for you today. Grab your Bible, or tablet/smart phone that has Bible App on it. Open it. Read the Word that comea from the One who loves and cares so much for you. He always there to teach us, to communicate with us and wants to draw us near to Him.

Apart from Him we get nothing.

He is the hope.

He is the encouragement.

He is the one who will give you the faith and strength to endure in waiting for His fulfillment of His promises in your life.

Read His word.

My prayer for you as you read God’s living word today, His power will change you and He will reveals Himself to you.

God bless you abundantly and richly in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior!

Fight With Hope and Strength From The Lord

October is dedicated to raise awareness for cancer. And October 16th is the National Mammography Day. The whole month is for us to remember that this breast cancer is cureable when it is detected as early as possible. It won’t hurt us at all if we do the test early.

I had an aunt lost the battle with breast cancer in her young age amd left her husband with a 9-month old baby boy, 3 years old boy, 11 years old disabled boy and 15 years old daughter. It was the sadness day in my family. She did not find out it was a cancer until after she delivered the baby and it was way too late, she was at state 4. We did not have the medical treatment that can help her. Chemotheraphy caused so many pain for her and her family. My parents walked with them through all the process.

My cousin and I were at thrid year of Junior High. She was broken and lost. I was sad and confused.

It was all because we had no knowledge about breast cancer or any kind of cancer in our family that prepare us for the worst. That was the first cancer case we experienced.

Proverbs 31:25

I had mine done in April and they found some shadows but they could not make sure what was that so they strongly suggested me to have another mammography in 6 months. So, next month I will have another one. I am not even forty years old yet. Please, think about this and make a plan to have mammograp as soon as you can.

This verse is the truth and the hope we can cling on. We can face everything with God, the one who give us hope and the strength to go through all the treatments and process to survive and at the end to win the battle. He is standing with us. He is fighting with us.

This month and even every time you pray, please to remember praying for your friends and families who are fighting Breast Cancer and thankful for those who have survived!

A reminder those who fight with God, she has hope in Him for cure.
