Card Chain Challenge September 2015 Reveal Day

Card Chain Challenge is a fun challenge I participate monthly at Deborah’s Blog. We are challenged to make a handmade card and send it to the participant above us on the list and we will receieve a handmade card from the participat below us.

Every month, Deborah will put up a link where you can sign up your name. She also will provide 4 options of Sketch, Color Pallete, Theme and Product Feature which you pick which way you would want to create your card. I love creating this card with some watercoloring technique I learned from Creative Bug, Beginning Watercolor by Yao Cheng. Make sure the circles are dry completely and then stamp the sentiment with VersaMark and Black Glitter finish embossing powder from American Crafts.

World Cardmaking Day 2015 with Illustrated Faith

Happy World Making Day to all my card-making friends wherever you are! Today is specially dedicated for you all, cardmakers!

We Are Not Alone

God sent the Judges to rule over His people when the time of darkness, when they did whatever they wanted because they did not have the leader that could lead them to live the life God had planned for them.

They did not have the leader who lived in fear of the LORD. They did whatever they wanted because they did not know who God was, the one who set them free from the salvery. They did not see Him. They worship idols, not God.

We need the godly leader who can lead us to the right path, to God. We need the godly and anointed leader who can lead us in worshiping the one true God.

We need Jesus.

God sent Jesus his only Son, the one He anointed to live on earth, to show us the way to Himself. Through Jesus we can see God,we can know God, we can feel His presence.

But we do not always set our eyes on Him.

But we often take our own way.

But we worship our own “idols” instead of He whom worthy of all worship and praise from us.

That is why we need Jesus every moment in our lives.

That is why we need Jesus to lead us.

That is why we need Jesus to teach us to live godly life.

That is why we need Jesus.

With Jesus we can walk and live in this dark world. His word will be the light to the dark path we walk through every day. His word will be lamp to our feet and will ligth the right path to choose every day.

This life is not easy to live. But with Jesus we have hope and receive grace to continue until the day we see Him face to face.

He is my faith, joy, hope and in His holy name I pray.

The first time I was brought before the judge, no one came with me. Everyone abandoned me. May it not be counted against them. But the Lord stood with me and gave me strength so that I might preach the Good News in its entirety for all the Gentiles to hear. And he rescued me from certain death.* Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.

(2 Timothy 4:16-18, NLT)

The Word of God in 2 Timothy reminds me to keep on rely on the King of kings whom has anointed by the God himself to be with me, to lead me, to teach me, to rebuke me, to change my heart, to direct the course of my life, the core of my faith, the hope in living in obedience to Him and His calling in my life.

Jesus himself reminds us at the End of the Day, this world will hate His followers, many will be sent to justice for what they do for Him, but worry not because though no one won’t be there with us, but He will.

Scary? Yes. But we have hope. We have the King of kings stand with us. We have the One who have defeated death will stand with us.

When I feel hopeless and weak, He is there to give me hope and strengthen me because He stand with me, holding me in His arms.

I am not alone for the KING of kings, my LORD and SAVIOR is with me. Even others leave me, He is still with me.

My prayer for your today that you will make Jesus the King in your life and follow him in obedience to His word.

Today is the last day of the Relentless Study with HelloMornings. We studied the book of Judges together for 6 weeks. I joined one of the Facebook groups where I found my accountability friends. We encourage each other by sharing our thoughts on the reading of God’s word and pray to lift each other up to the Father. You can find more details on HelloMornings and their available groups, if you feel God leads you to join and find accountability that you need to walk in your faith.

God has plans for each of us and He does not want us to walk alone in this faith journey.

Sending Latte Love

I finally had a chance to make some cards using the beautiful digi stamp from Verse Stamps. You can download it HERE (or click the picture) for free and limited time. So download today if you can!

Here are my cards:

On this first card, I colored the images using the coloring technique using crayons I learned from The Stamp Nation. It is a fun technique to color.

Second card, I embossed a Kraft cardstock using the Fall leaves embossing folder from the Paper Studio I got at Hobby Lobby last year. Adding some Orange Baker’s Twine and I used Coloring Pencils to color the image.

My third card is pretty simple, too. I embossed the kraft cardstock, add the sentiment with Orange Baker’s Twine and I used my Sharpie markers to color the image.

It was fun making these cards and coloring the images using 3 different coloring medium. I probably will try different way to color them in the future.

World Bible Translation Day

Today, September 30th, is dedicated to World Bible Translation Day. God has been doing GREAT things among the nations!

These verse from Psalm 67 is a prayer for the nations to know the Great God, the only One who worthy of our praise. The only One who worthy of worship from His creations. The only One who worthy of honor and the only One who rules over every nation!

May God be merciful and bless us.

May his face smile with favor on us.

Interlude

May your ways be known throughout the earth,

your saving power among people everywhere.

May the nations praise you, O God.

Yes, may all the nations praise you.

Let the whole world sing for joy,

because you govern the nations with justice

and guide the people of the whole world.

Then the earth will yield its harvests,

and God, our God, will richly bless us.

and people all over the world will fear him.

Please join us to give PRAISE to the LORD for:

what He has done among the nations
all the translation projects done this year
all the nearly-done projects this year
all translation teams who are working among the people groups
all partners who work together to get the Word available in the languages in the world

Please join us in PRAYER today for:

those people groups who do not yet have any verses of the Word available in their languages
open doors to the restricted and closed countries and people groups
more churches and partners to see the urgent needs in their countries and step in join the teams to work together bringing the Good News to the people who have been waiting for so long
protection and courage to the Believers who live in closed and restricted countries where they serve and share the Good News with the people there
more workers sent by God to the fields
God’s glory known among the people on earth

We are so grateful to be part of the work of B!ble translation projects in SEA* in Pacific with Wycliffe Associates. Right now we are working from home but our prayer and hope that we will be there to work directly with the local teams and partners to bring the Good News to the more than 400 language groups who have been waiting for so long. They need God’s word to know Him and to trust in Him. They need to read His Word to know how much He loves them. They need God in their lives, to change them only by the power of His living word.

Our family would like to THANK YOU for your partnership with us since the beginning of the ministry with Wycliffe Associates.
