I printed the sentiment and image on a white cardstock with inkjet printer and then I colored it with Altenew Artist Alcohol Markers. After coloring it, I fussy cut it with scissors. The background paper is one of the digital papers from Graciellie Design also.
I created a watercolor background with Distress Oxide ink using smooshing technique and some water. And then I dried the background. After that I added the stencil on top of the watercolor paper, taped it down with stencil tape. I used the oval blending brush to blend the colors from Distress Oxide inks.
After that, I removed the stencil and added some splatters of water on it. I dabbed off some of the water and dried the whole background panel with craft heater.
I trimmed a black cardstock into 4″ x 5.25″ to create the background black mat for the card. And then, I trimmed the stenciled background panel into 3.75″ x 5″. I added both backgrounds on the card with permanent adhesive runner.
I cut out those two word dies with white and black cardstocks. I stacked them together with permanent dries clear glue and I added on the card with the permanent adhesive runner.
That’s my card for today. I hope this give you an inspiration to create with your stencil. Head over to STAMPlorations Blog today to see more inspiration from the design team and there you can also link up your project.
HAPPY NATIONAL COFFEE DAY!!! This is one of my favotite kind of national day… I am excited to celebrate this day with coffee and coffee loving cardmaking community!
We are celebrating this National Coffee Day with a fun blog hop with all the Super Sponsors. The blog hop starts at Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog today.
I made these felt Bear Coffee Sleeve and matching card using the fun Bear Cozy Kit from Ellen Hutson, one of the Super Sponsors. This kit is packed with supplies you need to make cute coffee sleeve. You can stitch it or use fabric/felt glue. And it is kids friendly! I know my daughters will have fun making projects with this kit, too.
I decided to stitch all the pieces on my coffee sleeve this time. I used back-stitch this time. You can also use blanket stitch, if you want. In this Bear Cozy Kit, there is a die that you can use to cut the stitching holes on the sleeve. It makes stitching easier for sure.
So… that my projects to share with you on this National Coffee Day. Now, it is time to join the celebrations at Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog! You will find more inspirations from the team and hopping around the blogs for chances to enter the giveaway from each Super Sponsor.
Hope you all have a fabulous, caffeinated day. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!
On my coffee fall birthday slimline card, I used the Close To My Heart Monthly Special – Slimline Celebration Cardmaking Workshop Kit. This workshop includes stamp sets, thin cuts sets, cardstocks, clear sparkles, slimline card bases and envelopes, plus also instructions how to make the cards.
For my card design, I CASEd one of the 6 card designs from this workshop instruction. I changed the elements on this card.
I stamped the leaf, nut, and mushroom on a white cardstock with the permanent black ink pad and then I colored them with ShinHan Twin Alcohol Markers. After that, I cut them with the matching thin cuts.
The coffee cup is from the Whole Latte Love stamp set. That I stamped on the white cardstock with permanent black ink pad and colored it with ShinHan Twin Alcohol Markers. After that, I cut it with scissors. This stamp set also comes with the stamp and thin cuts bundle.
I hope this sparks an idea for you to make Fall birthday card for this season. For more inspiration, you can head over to Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. Have a fabulous caffeinated day!
