Mixed Media Card: Peace, Love & Joy

Hello crafty friends, it is about 9 more weeks till Christmas! It is so crazy how fast the time flies, especially when we have fun 🙂 And I have been having fun making Christmas cards!

Today, I am sharing a mixed media Christmas card with stamping, embossing, stenciling and watercoloring:

On a white cardstock, I added the Star Align – ARTplorations Stencil and sponged the Mustard Seed Distress Ink with make up sponge.

I stamped the framed poinsettia with Versamark ink and added Gold Embossing Powder, and heat set it with my Craft Heater. Then I colored it with Koi watercolor paint. And I cut it out and added it on a glitter paper that I cut out slightly bigger than the framed image. I added it on the card with 3D foam tape.

Then I stamped the sentiment below the image. The sentiment is from the same stamp set, Framed Christmas – Peace, Love Joy.

I added the finished panel on a A2 red card. The card is pretty simple 🙂 but I love the way we can share the peace, love and joy of Christmas even through our simple handmade cards. Keep making cards with love!
