Stay Home and Drink Coffee

Hello everyone… I hope you all are safe and healthy. I stay home and drink coffee to survive this… Hahahahaha…

It has been 70 days we are in the “stay home” stage!!! And now that school is done and Summer Break has started… But I do love love love having my kids at home with me!

I played with the new Coffee Queen digital stamp from Graciellie Design. This is a fun digital stamp set to use on projects.

I also use couple patterned paper from the Coffee Lovers digital paper pack for the background and oval mat. I trimmed the background paper to fit on the white card. And then for the oval mat, I cut out the stripe patterned paper with Divinity Designs – Ovals Stitched Rows Dies.

I opened files, resized and added sentiment on the mug using Pixelmator Pro (photo edit software). You also can use Word or Pages to work with digital stamps.

I printed the image on a white cardstock using Brother Laser Printer in black and white. After that, I added some DecoFoil foil sheets (black and green) on the image and run it through the laminating machine.

I colored the image with watercolor pencils, waterbrush, and Spectrum Noir Sparkle brush. I dried the watercolor with craft heater and after that I fussy cut the image with scissors. I added it on the oval background mat with 3D foam tape. I added it on the card with permanent adhesive.

I added the extra silver dots on the card using DecoFoil Glue Pen and DecoFoil Silver foil sheet.

Here’s a quick close up how the foil sheets and glitter brush give extra sparkle on the card:

  1. Haha, if only the scientists would discover that coffee is the antidote to the virus! That’s just a nice dream I’m afraid 🙂
What a wonderful piece of work this is! Your elements go so beautifully together and the coffee looks very tempting. Vicky x
