Malay of Indonesia

The Malay people (2,370,000 people) are believed to have originated in Borneo and then expanded outwards into Sumatra and other regions, including Indonesia. These people were descendants of Austronesian-speakers who migrated from the Philippines and originally from Taiwan. Malays practiced Buddhism, Hinduism, and their native Animism before converting to Islam in the 15th century.

1. Lord God, help me to remember to give thanks to You, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, in all things and to maintain an attitude of prayer (1:3).

2. Build in me a strong faith in You and a love for all the saints (1:4).

3. Fill me with the knowledge of Your will in all areas of my life (1:9).

4. Teach me to walk in a manner worthy of You and to please You in all things (1:10).

5. Help me to bear fruit daily in the work I do and increase in the knowledge of You (1:10).

6. Help me to be strengthened with Your power that I may have endurance and patience (1:11).

7. Help me to always remember that, as a believer, I have been delivered from darkness and brought into the kingdom of Your beloved Son (1:13).

8. I pray that You will have first place in everything in my life (1:18).

9. Father, I ask You to make my faith strong, stable, and fixed on the truth of the gospel (1:23).

10. Please knit my heart together in love with other believers in the body of Christ (2:2).

Who Shall Dwell in God’s Presence

Who may enter your presence on your holy hill?

Psalm 15 gives us the list of the characters of the people who shall dwell in God’s holy presence.

And they are:

1. Right doers who has clean and pure hearts (15:2)

2. Just and love their neighbors (15:3)

3. Fear God, faithful, have no doubt (15:4)

4. Not greedy and not love money (15:5)

Let’s pray together that God will help us to be the people who can stand in His holy presence. Holy Spirit will help if we ask humbly.

Need of Deaf Translators

“Deaf people don’t understand things from a hearing person’s perspective.”

Hundreds of signed languages around the world don’t have God’s Word. See how the Bible comes alive for Deaf people in El Salvador when it’s translated into their language for the first time.

Stand In The Gap

“The more you pray, the more will be revealed. You will appreciate not only the greatness of prayer, but the greatness of God.”

Joni Eareckson Tada

Through the prayer, we will see the greatness of God in the nations, we will see the glory of God revealed in the life of each people in the world.

This coming May 5th is the National Day of Prayer. Let’s all of us have some time to pray, seek God’s face, and stand in the gap between God  and the unreached people groups in the world (Ezekiel 22:30b). God is looking for people who wants to do that so that He will not destroy those nations.
