When we have toddlers and sunny days, they pretty much don’t wanna stay inside the house anymore after a long inside-winter-house activities. They just want to go out and play. Especially if they have friends who live closer, play date will be a great idea to be outside. That’s what we did today, the very first time for Abigail to have a play date with her friends.
I Am New To This App
My husband put this BlogPress App on my iPhone.
This is my first time using it and we’ll see if it is handy or not ^_^
First post is from where I sit, my lovely big couch and sipping my coffee… While looking at my little princess playing around the living room.
In addition, I write it and post it at my 3 blogs. I don’t have to copy & paste, even change website to make a post.
For a short and fast post, this App is H.A.N.D.Y.
So, do you think it sounds handy?

A Great Follower Will Make A Great Leader
Nowadays, we have seen lots of leadership problems in the worldwide. President step down because of the people wanted him to step down, and even at a church, the pastor got “fired” because of things went south with his leadership.
So what is the real problem actually? How a leader can be a great leader and have followers? How a leader can be the one who lead the way?
In his recent post, Michael Hyatt wrote good points about being a leader and how to be a great leader. Here what I quote from him:
I contend that if you want to be a great leader, you must first become a great follower. Although it is rarely discussed, this is where almost all of history’s greatest leaders got their start.
- Joshua followed Moses for more than forty years before he led the children of Israel into the promised land.
- Elisha served Elijah for ten years before he took up his master’s mantle and went on to perform even more miracles.
- The Apostle Peter followed Jesus for three years—and made a lot of mistakes—before he and his fellow-disciples “turned the world upside down” (see Acts 17:6).
Happy 8th Birthday, Rafi
I made this card for our boy whom we support through World Vision in Indonesia. His birthday is in July but it will take about 2 months for him to get the card. He will be 8 this year. So we sent it this month to him and hopefully he will get it on time. We are so blessed to have him as a member of our family.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Rafi… We love you!
Got Caught In A Funk?
Have you ever got caught yourself in a funk? What do you do? Here’s some ideas from Michael Hyatt of “quick fixes” for getting him out of his funk… might help you too 🙂
- Write a list of 10 things you are thankful for. Be specific.
- Put on some upbeat, happy music. I like Keith Urban.
- Go for a walk—or a run.
- Plan a vacation or, better yet, go on one!
- Schedule an appointment with a counselor.
- Talk to a good friend who knows how to listen.
- Have a good cry. It’s okay. It will cleanse your emotional system.
- Take control of that little voice in your head. “Change channels.”
- Turn off the TV and the radio.
- Read the Psalms.
- Do volunteer work with a local charity.
- Organize your desk and/or your office.
- Take one “baby step action” for each of your top three projects.
- Take the afternoon off and take a nap.
- Get a massage or sit in a hot jacuzzi or tub.
- Change positions. If you are sitting, stand. If you are standing, sit.
- Pray. Pour out your heart to God.
- Smile. Your emotions will usually follow your body’s lead.
- Do that one thing you fear the most.
- Write a love note to your spouse and mail it.
- Excuse yourself from negative conversations.
- Resist the temptation to complain—about anything!
- Forget the past. Ignore the future. Be fully present NOW.
- Stop worrying about things you have no control over.
So, what are you going to do to get you out of your funk?
