Happy First Birthday, Abigail Ruby!

Abigail Ruby turned to one year old on March 4th. We were having her first birthday party at our house. Her great grandma and grandma came and brought lots of presents for her. Also she got presents for us, too. She was so funny and so happy to have all of us celebrating her first birthday.

She tasted her birthday cake, actually it was ice cream cake (Mom’s request!) and she didn’t like the cold ice cream but she kept on asking for more. She was just so funny.

Before the dinner, she entertained us with her Peek-Ka-Boo game using kitchen towel. She did that over and over again. Laughter fulfilled the dining room that evening because of Abigail.

So thankful and praise God for you Abigail Ruby. You are our beautiful and amazing daughter. We love you so much, Boo Boo!

Abigail is 3 months old now

Abigail is growing. She is 3 months old on June 4th, 2009.

She looks so different from when she was born, cuter and such a big girl.

She can roll over and she loves to do that but she is frustrated when she can not roll back.

We have so much fun watching her actions. She is adorable.

She also can cooing, laughing out loud, giggling, and screaming!

Abigail also loves to see everything around her. When we take her out of the house, she looks around, pay attention to the birds’ singing, trees, grass, sun, sky, and her shadow on the ground. She is so alert.

She doesn’t want to sit down for a long time now, she pushes her legs and tries to stand up.

She is practicing to sit up by herself, too.

She is practicing her leg muscles by kicking her dangling toys at her play-mat.

She looks at the person whom talks to her. She checks on them, smiles, and tries to respond to them.

She likes to put anything she can hold in her mouth. She is starting teething at her early 3 months. It seems that faster than other baby. She likes to chew her Pooh Bear Book & doll, her skirt, her hands, including our hands.

She can holds her bottle for couple minutes now…

Watching how wonderful her growing, only one thing we do: PRAISING GOD for that! So amazing to see how God take care of her, keep her safe, and love her.

I Can Stay Here Legally!

We would like to thank you all for your supports in prayers for us.

Yesterday, on Monday (May 4th), I received the Green Card. Praise God for that! This is a great blessing for us and also a wonderful answer of all your prayers.

God has shown us his wonderful kindness and mercy.

I was too stupid to be worry about it. But so thankful to God for Dave who always encouraged and comfort me with God’s word and showing me his faith in God what God himself would work it out for us.

Once again, thank you so much for supporting us in prayers!

We also would like to thank God for Abigail now is 2 months old. She is healthy and growing so fast. I cannot imagine how small she was. She will have her first immunization shots on May 6th. Please do pray for her that she will be okay and strong enough for the shots. Pray that she won’t get the fever because sometimes babies get the fever because of the shots.

Kami sangat berterima kasih atas kesetiaan Anda semua dalam mendukung kami dalam doa-doa.

Kemarin (Senin, 4 Mei), saya (Helen) sudah menerima kartu “Green Card” di tangan saya! Puji Nama Tuhan untuk itu! Ini adalah satu berkat yang luar biasa & jawaban dari doa-doa yang kita semua naikan kepada Tuhan.

Tuhan sudah menunjukkan kebaikanNya dan bermurah hati kepada kami!

Dulu saya sangat bodoh karena selalu khawatir soal hal ini, tetapi saya sangat bersyukur karena Dave selalu menguatkan & menghibur saya dengan keyakinannya bahwa Tuhan pasti akan bekerja.

Terima kasih banyak telah berdoa bersama dengan kami!

Kami juga bersyukur karena Abigail sekarang sudah berusia 2 bulan.

Mohon dukungan doa untuk Abigail karena dia akan mendapat suntikan imunisasi pertama kali pada hari Rabu nanti (6 Mei). Doakan agar dia tidak sakit setelah suntikan itu, karena biasanya bayi-bayi sakit setelah suntikan.

Got It! Yay!

On Monday (April 27), we received a notification letter from USCIS said that, “… it is a welcome letter. Your permanent residence has been approved. You will receive the card within 3 weeks. Welcome to United State…” That means… I am a permanent residence and I got my green card for 2 years, then can renew it for 10 years green card after that.

Praise GOD for making this happened and easy for us. No interview (the one that we were worry about) and don’t have to wait more than 1-5 years like others told us. Isn’t that amazing and wonderful God’s blessing and plan in our life?

I admit that I was so worry about it and I was a fool, now I rejoice for trusting God in this process. He teaches me a lot about trusting him.

Hari Senin, tanggal 27 April kami menerima surat pemberitahuan dari Imigrasi USA berkenaan dengan permohonan “Green Card” Helen. Surat pemberitahuan ini menyatakan bahwa permohonan kami sudah di setujui dan kami akan menerima kartu tersebut dalam waktu paling lambat 3 minggu dari surat pemberitahuan ini dikeluarkan.

Kartu “Green Card” yang akan diberikan berlaku selama 2 tahun dan harus diperbaharui 6 bulan sebelum masa berlaku habis. Pada pembaharuan kartu akan diberikan jangka waktu 10 tahun imigran tetap di USA.

Kami sanagt bersyukur atas apa yang telah Tuhan kerjakan dalam hidup kami sampai saat ini. Kami juga bersyukur karena tidak ada wawancara seperti yang kami dengan dari orang-orang lain, karena hal itu yang membuat kami sedikit khawatir akan proses permohonan imigran ini. Juga, menurut berita yang kami dengar atau baca di internet, mereka harus menunggu 1 sampai 5 tahun untuk mendapat “Green Card” mereka. Tapi untuk kami, Tuhan membuatnya hanya 4 bulan! Bukan kesetiaan Allah nyata dan luar biasa ajaib dalam hidup kita?

Harus saya akui kalau saya merasa bodoh untuk khawatir dan takut, sedangkan saya seharusnya memiliki iman dan percaya kepada Tuhan yang memiliki rencana yang sempurna dan terbaik untuk kami. Lewat perkara ini, saya belajar untuk mempercayakan diri saya dan seluruh keluarga saya kepada Tuhan dan kekuasaanNya dalam melakukan berbagai hal.

Sungguh bersyukur untuk semua yang sudah mendukung kami dalam doa dan menguatkan kami lewat e-mail. Terima kasih banyak atas kesediaan Anda semua berdoa untuk kami.

She is here!

Dear all,

Praise The LORD! Psalm 127:3 says children are precious gifts from God and God has given us the precious gift.

On March 4, 2009; at 8 a.m. (EST) or 8 p.m (West Indonesia time zone); at Southern Ohio Medical Center; a little baby girl was born through a Caesarean Section. She is the daughter of Dave and Helen Gullett. Her name is Abigail Ruby. Her weight was 9 lbs. 1 oz. (4.11 kg) and her length was 21.5 inches (54 cm).

Praise God for she was born healthy. Praise God for the doctor and her assistants, nurses and family who were used by God to deliver her to the world.

We would like to thank you all for all your supports for us in many many ways and all the encouragements that you have given to us through the days of Helen’s pregnancy and the day of delivery. Thank you so much! We do praise God and give him thanks for you all.
