Forgive My Enemies

One week before the dedication of the Gospel of Luke, three hundred homes in the village of Bambalang, Cameroon, were burned by a neighboring village. But hearing Scripture in their own language has brought comfort and forgiveness.

The Great Commission Is For Everyone

STEER, Inc. has been in the ministry of MULTIPLIED GIVING for missions ever since its founding in Park River, ND in 1957. Evangelical and Interdenominational in scope, STEER is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. The goal of STEER’s ministry is to assist existing missions organizations in financial way so that they may follow their calling to bring about world evangelization. This non-profit organization works to bring together people (Donors) who provide the working capital (UNITS), these UNITS are invested with farmers and ranchers in the agricultural project of their choice. The farmers and ranchers contribution is the feed and care for the project. This program is especially helpful to farmers and ranchers who may desire to be actively involved in missions but who may lack the capital to expand their herds or acreage in order to support missions like they really want to. Working together, the Donors and the Farmers and Ranchers help to provide the funds for the Lord’s work so that the missionaries and mission projects that are the benefactors of this program can do what God has called them to and that is telling others about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe THE GREAT COMMISSION IS FOR EVERYONE.

This Is Why We Are Going

The Bible

How many Bible versions or in how many languages do you have at home? Yes, we have a lot at home. My husband went to Bible Collage so he has several versions on his desk, and I has several from Indonesia. This not counting various versions we have on our electronic devices. We have access to all kind of Bible version as we want, at anytime, and from any device. But,

Today about 340 million people do not have any Scripture in their language. Wycliffe’s vision is to see the Bible accessible to all peole in the language they understand the best. To make this vision reality, Wycliffe also focuses on Community development, literacy development and church partnerships. (Wycliffe.org)

We went to Summer Short Mission Trips (called Discovery trip) with Wycliffe in 2006-2008, we searched, experienced the live of missionaries, connected with the locals, discovered and confirmed by God that this is our calling.

Then, last year we sent our application to Wycliffe and after going through all the membership application and background screening process, we got accepted as members on February 22, 2012. It was an answer to our prayers for about 6 years. God has been leading us step by step, and we still trust Him to lead and guide us further more to bring the Good News of Kingdom of God to those who haven’t heard about it in the language they understand the best. After doing the 6 weeks Equip online training, we are now at the next step.

We are going to Equip Onsite training with Wycliffe USA this week!

Easter Today

Happy Easter!

Jesus came, live on earth and died for all of us for God’s purpose and to fulfill His highest calling. He died to obey his Father and for His glory.

He came to serve, not to be served. He set us an example to serve one another with love (John 13).

Jesus is the true vine where we are the branches found the source of life. We are called to abide in Jesus so we will bear fruits for the glory of God. We surrender to God and trust Him that His ways are always the best for us (John 15).

Jesus didn’t leave, nor forsake us. He prayed for us and He is still interceding for us before God. When we are in Jesus, we are one, just like Jesus and the Father are one. So the world may know God, the Father, through Jesus, in the unity of the believers (John 17).

Jesus was crucified because of the world sins, to be the perfect sacrifice to God, so we are reconciled with the Father, and have the eternal life with Him. Jesus defeated the death (John 19).

To know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death. Through Jesus’ suffering and death, we find the power of His resurrction and we become like Him (Philippians 3).
