Dare 2B Artzy | CAS Slimline Birthday Card

Hello artzy friends! Today, I want to share with you all this CAS Slimline Birthday card.

I used the new artzy papers, the Merry & Bright Variety Pack that I cut with one of the Curve Slimline Border Dies to create the floral curve border on the card.

I stamped the sentiment word and the 3 gift images new Rock-a-Bye Baby stamp set with the Totally Black Arzty Ink Pad on a white cardstock. After that, I colored the 3 gifts with alcohol markers and then I cut them with the the matching Rock-a-Bye Baby die set.

For the sentiment, I cut it with one of the Mini Borders Die.

I added the sentiment and one of the gift on the card with permanent adhesive runner. I added the other 2 gift images on the card with 3D foam tape for extra dimension.

Freshly Brewed Coffee, Liquid For Soul

Freshly brewed coffee is totally liquid for soul… Don’t you agree? Today, I wanna share a fun CAS coffee card with you all.

I am up at Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog today and sharing this how I made this CAS coffee card. On my CAS card, I used the Spring Coffee Cup Mega Digital Stamp Set from Graciellie Design. At her digital store, she has quite a collection of the coffee/tea/cocoa digital stamp sets.

Working with digital stamps, I like to use the Silhouette Studio software and also Procreate Pro on my MacBook. But you can use any image processing software and any Word Document software will work with any digital images. I colored the printed cup with Altenew Artist Alcohol Markers. After coloring process, I fussy cut the cup with scissors.

I used stamping with acrylic block and dye inks technique to create that watercolor background. I dabbed some of the Catherine Pooler Dye Inks on an acrylic block and lightly sprayed it with pearl silver spray to give a little bit sparkle on the background. I stamped the watercolor with the block on a white cardstock. I put another acrylic block on top of it and let the watercolor ink dried underneath the other block. It was fun to watch the watercolor ink blending together underneath the acrylic block and form the rainbow colors.

After I removed the acrylic blocks, I dried watercolor paint with craft heater gun just to make sure it dried well. And then, I cut the background panel with Dare 2B Artzy Rectangles Framelits Dies. I added the cut out frame on the card with 3D foam tape and using permanent  adhesive runner to add the middle mat.

I added the coffee cup in the middle of the mat with 3D foam tape.

Let’s get some freshly brewed coffee for our souls today… Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Have fabulous caffeinated day!!!

No Stamping Cards Artzy Papers and Framelits

Hello everyone! Today, I want to share with you these six cards that I made with no-stamping at all. All you need are Artzy Papers and Artzy Framelits.

All the vocal images on these six cards are from the Scoops of Thanks paper which you can buy a pack of 15 papers alone, and also included in the Ice Cream Social Collection Variety Pack. I used some of the patterned papers for backgrounds from the variety pack.

I cut off each image on this paper with scissors. You can also use paper trimmer, if you want. And let’s start with the most simple card to make. And the Artzy Framelits die sets I used on to make these six cards are Slimline Framelit Dies, Slim Mini Wavy Layers Die, Rectangle Framelits Die, Rectangle Fancy Framelit Die, Wavy Squares Framelit Die, and Fun Card Fold Die.

I shared more about these cards at Dare 2B Arzty Blog today. I hope you all stopping by there, too. Before you go, check out our August Artzy Challenge with Anything Goes theme.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today.

You’re The Cherry On Top

Hello hello hello everyone! August is here already… can you believe that??? But for me, this new month means a new journey, new page to write every day. I hope you all also can find a way to enjoy the blessing every day.

Today, I have a new card to share with you all… August is still a good month to enjoy some ice cream, right?

I made this quick and easy card using the stamp set, dies sets and pattern paper from Dare 2B Artzy: Turtley Awesome Stamp Set, Ice Cream Social Collection Variety Paper Pack, Rectangle Framelits Dies, and Rectangle Fancy Framelits Dies.

I use 80lbs white cardstock to make the top fold card base. For the background, I cut out one of the patterned papers with the Rectangle Framelits Dies and I added it on the card with permanent adhesive.

Next, I stamped the images and sentiment on a white cardstock and then I colored them with alcohol makers. After that, I cut it with one of the Rectangle Framelits Dies. I adde it on the card with 3D foam tape for extra dimension.
